Cyclical Review of Units and Programs, 2020-21
Thursday, March 12, 2020
12:00 pm to 2:00 pm (lunch will be provided)
Governing Council Chambers, Simcoe Hall, 27 King's College Circle, 2nd floor, St. George Campus
This workshop is designed for those who will be involved in the review process during the 2020-21 cycle.
As part of the University’s commitment to ensuring quality across all aspects of its operations, academic programs and units are reviewed on a cyclical basis. This process is governed by the University of Toronto Quality Assurance Process (UTQAP), which gives the University significant autonomy in this process and aligns undergraduate and graduate reviews and the reviews of academic units.
The workshop is held for appropriate vice-deans; associate and assistant deans; managers within deans' offices who have responsibility for reviews; unit chairs; and staff. The workshop provides an overview of the review process; introduces you to a range of templates, documents and common materials available to support this process; and in particular, provides an opportunity for you to hear about lessons learned from faculty and staff who have successfully gone through the process.
We look forward to seeing you there!
